Hosted Auto-Attendant
IPgallery offers a Hosted Auto-Attendant service based on its Converged network service controller. The solution is totally network agnostic, and the same application can deliver service over a variety of different networks including wireline, wireless, VoIP and broadband. The Hosted Auto-Attendant incorporates highly flexible IVR features delivered via cost-efficient IP media servers and with fully configurable announcements.
The advantage of the hosted service for SMB customers is that it provides all automated attendant functionality over the network using the enterprise’s existing phone lines, without the need for additional on-premises equipment.
The service provider can offer high levels of customization without adversely impacting operating margins. Most features – including all aspects of announcement creation and management – can be fully customized by the end-users themselves, using either a Web or IVR interface. And because service is delivered over the network, The Hosted Auto-Attendant supports geographically distributed enterprises and those with small, far-flung branch offices.
The Hosted Auto-Attendant service provides a solid basis for the layering of additional features and highly attractive feature bundling. All resources, including the scalable IVR capabilities, are generic and can be efficiently shared among multiple services running on the same platform.
Incremental feature additions and modifications can be implemented rapidly and at low cost.
